Common Rail Retrofitting
Conversion to common rail is particularly recommended for all applications with variable loads and speeds, as this enables all the advantages of electronic fuel injection to be exploited. Due to the considerable reduction in fuel that can be achieved, the investment can pay for itself in less than two years (at >5000 operating hours per year). Complete common rail solutions, including monitoring and protection systems, along with touch screen based operating units, are supplied from a single source. HEINZMANN offers comprehensive services for these products, including feasibility studies, engineering, installation, commissioning and maintenance. Engine sizes range from 500 kW to over 10,000 kW.

Depending on the objective of the conversion - reduction of pollutant and CO2 emissions, reduction in operating costs, flexible choice of fuel, HEINZMANN can offer solutions adapted to the customer's needs.
HEINZMANN dual-fuel systems combine tried and tested components for precise control of gas and liquid fuel injection. In every operating condition, they guarantee optimum engine behaviour and are perfectly adapted to the requirements of the application in question.
E-PPN Retrofitting
Over the decades, diesel engines were a symbol of uncompromising performance, reliability and economy. The technological advancements in new generations of diesel engines have put a great deal of pressure on operators of older engines in all types of application as they strive to keep pace with the higher efficiency and better operating characteristics of newer units without significant investments. HEINZMANN has developed a flexible and cost-efficient retrofit solution to address this issue.
Converting a conventional, plug-in pump based injection system to E-PPN does not require any special effort. Only minor modifications to the engine itself are generally required. The electronically controlled injection valve can be adapted to practically any fuel injection pump using corresponding adapters. A large power range up to 350 kW per cylinder is covered. Due to the modified connection geometry, only the high-pressure pipe has to be adapted. The injector remains unchanged. The solution is suitable for a wide range of different engines thanks to the high system flexibility.

EFI Control
HEINZMANN develops and produces all the components required for electronic injection in diesel engines. With HEINZMANN systems, you can implement all relevant injection processes for your diesel engine. This includes complete common rail systems with all the required CR system components and electronic control of pump-pipe-nozzle systems (E-PPN). The DARDANOS EFI control units are at the heart of all the systems. Of course, they can also be used in conjunction with external systems such as electronically controlled pump nozzle units (E-PNU).
