HEINZMANN provides a wide range of actuators that cover practically all applications and can easily be installed on any gas engine. This means our devices are also ideal for retrofitting on existing systems. Our actuators are lightweight and compact, and offer not only a high degree of protection but also high nominal torques. Actuators for Gas Engines

For decades now, HEINZMANN has been developing and producing high-performance actuators that can be used for virtually any application and can easily be installed on any gas engine. They are ideally suited for installation as original equipment and for retrofitting. They are fast and precise, offering complete reliability and durability.

StG 2010 / 2040 / 2080

These models are the most powerful versions in the 2000 actuator range, and can be driven by analogue and digital HEINZMANN governors and by positioning modules. They are used in diesel, gas and dual-fuel engines and can be integrated with various throttle valves for hot and cold engine applications. The brushless permanent magnet system makes this actuator series ideal for use with gas engines.

StG 2120

The StG 2120 is tailored to engine and turbine applications and their specific ambient conditions, and is controlled by HEINZMANN digital governors or HEINZMANN positioning modules. Its higher explosion protection class makes it ideal for use in gas turbines and gas engines that are subject to more stringent requirements.

These two positioners can be used in internal combustion engines of all types with low and medium power. The versions differ in their maximum torque and working temperature range. The devices can be mounted in any installation position. The rugged and resistant design and the protection class IP6K9K allow the use even under harshest environmental conditions.

Throttle Valves with Actuators

HEINZMANN throttle valves with actuators are the ideal components for ensuring optimal engine control, including for turbocharged engines. As throttle valves, they regulate the engine speed by metering the mixture accordingly, and boast an unusually long service life. What’s more, they can be used in special applications as a gas valve in order to control the air-fuel ratio. Alternatively, they can also be used as a turbo bypass valve.
